Product Description
Embark on a mathematical adventure through the Sum Swamp! This engaging board game transforms learning addition and subtraction into an exciting journey for children ages 5 and up. Players navigate the colorful swamp board, using three dice to create and solve math equations that determine their movement. The game brilliantly disguises learning as play, challenging young mathematicians to think quickly and strategically. Players roll two number dice and an operations die, creating equations that will move them closer to the finish line. Unique board spaces add extra excitement – land on an “even” or “odd” space, and you'll need to roll strategically to continue your journey. The game's standout feature is the “endless loop” – a dynamic challenge that keeps players on their toes, ensuring that no two games are exactly alike. Colorful swamp creature game pieces make each turn more enjoyable, while players practice essential math skills without feeling like they're doing homework. Perfect for 2-4 players. Children will develop basic addition and subtraction skills, number recognition, understanding of even and odd numbers, strategic thinking, and computational fluency. Watch as math transforms from a chore to an exciting expedition, making learning fun and interactive for kindergarten and early elementary students.

Kids will have a terrific time learning math skills as they avoid the hilarious pitfalls of the Sum Swamp. Designed for two to four players, this game is sure to develop and sharpen beginning math skills, because the only way to escape the mire is to roll the dice and add and subtract your way around the board. If you're lucky, you'll be able to take the Crocodile Short Cut, although sooner or later everyone gets caught in the Endless Loop. Landing on special squares, such as Even or Odds or a number space, makes things even more interesting; you could get stuck for quite a while. The best part is that this is a game kids can grow with–children 5 to 6 will find it a learning challenge, and older kids can play for fun. The game is an Oppenheim Best Toy award winner. –Marianne Painter
